Arturo Vera has been designing women’s clothing for his own label and for other companies since he was 17 years old. He attended Fashion School in Peru, while maintaining his label and operating his boutique in Lima, where he created couture and bridal wear for the city’s celebrities and models. He designed outfits for television, beauty pageants, commercials and advertising, music videos, dance performances and plays. He presented his collections in runway shows several times yearly and was featured in magazine articles and television appearances promoting his line.
Since 2000 Arturo has worked in New York as head designer for knitwear companies, creating clothing for wholesale accounts in six thousand boutiques and stores throughout the American continent, as well as online. He completed post baccalaureate studies in New York as well to further his personal quest for excellence.
Arturo enjoys supporting the arts through designing for dancers and loves to see his clothing in motion. Arturo has been designing costumes for C. Eule Dance since 2003.
In 2010 Arturo in a partnership, started his own company named Pima Doll, where he designs tops and dresses in Pima cotton.
