A Mongolian, Hasi was born in Erdos, Southern Mongolia . His formal dance training centered on traditional folkdance, both at the Southern Mongolian Arts High School and the Central Ethnic University where he graduated with a Dance degree in 1999. Hasi then joined the Beijing Modern Dance Company as a Principal and toured with BMDC in Australia, Canada, France and Hong Kong before performing his own work in Bangkok, Beijing, Edinburgh and Hong Kong. After arriving in the US in May 2004, Hasi completed an artist residency with Elizabeth Streb at the Atlantic Center for the Arts and a professional program workshop at ADF. In August 2004, Hasi entered the Independent Study Program at the Martha Graham School and joined the Martha Graham Ensemble. In 2005, Hasi completed the Mark Morris Dance Group Summer Intensive and participated in the Dance 4 U Project with Germaul Barnes. He joined the Peridance Ensemble in fall of 2005. Hasi joined the JMDP in 2006. Tsuru-no Ongaeshi/ The Crane Wife , character -Kinzo, C. Eule Dance Company in 2008.
