Fluid Memoires
16 minutes/ 6 dancers
(2017)
A contemporary dance work that deals with the issue of drought in California and beyond. It begins with dancers luxuriating in their showers until the water suddenly shuts off, and we see how they react to this loss of water. We then see their memory of beautiful flowing water and their reaching for their last drops of attainable water when it finally runs out.
