Originally a Bachelor in Fashion Design from Karachi &#8211; Pakistan, he recently completed his Associates in Fashion merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology, NY. <\/p>\n<p>Experience in design and costume have lead him through winning fashion illustration competitions in Britain, helping choreograph fashion shows for Pakistani designers at the Cairo film festival (2007) to being chosen to design for the launch of Nokia\u2019s line of cellular devices in Morocco in June 2007.<\/p>\n<p>He currently works and designs for retailers such as SAKS, Barneys, Lord and Taylor, Neiman Marcus, Intermix, etc.  He aspires to eventually branch out into his own label for ready to wear and couture Women\u2019s wear, while simultaneously pursuing his passion for painting and fine arts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamshed Irani comes from British, Persian and Pakistani descent.
