Jordan Marinov

Jordan MarinovJordan is a Pittsburgh native where she began dancing at a young age at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and has never stopped! She earned a BFA in dance magna cum laude from Marymount Manhattan College, where she won an award for choreography. As a dancer she has performed the works of Anna Sokolow, Mark Morris and Alwin Nikolais. She has danced for Alyce Finwall, Pascal Rekoert, Heidi Latsky, Stephan Koplowitz, and Axis Danz among others. Jordan founded Marinov Dance in 2008 and her choreography has been shown at 41st & 8th, DTW, John Jay College, Wax Works, Hatch, 60×60 festivals at Galapagos and Winter Garden in the World Financial Center. She is currently collaborating with Bill Hayward and Anna Elman of Red Dress Films on The Intimacies Project which won a space grant and much sponsorship in October 2009. Her choreography and dancing will also be seen in Bill Hayward’s upcoming film Asphalt, Muscle and Bone. Jordan is grateful to be a part of C. Eule Dance!
