Aaron Atkins

Aaron Atkins is originally from Lancaster, South Carolina and received his primary training at South Carolina Governor’s school for the Arts and humanities, in Greenville South Carolina. Mr. Atkins has a BFA in Dance, under South Carolina Governor’s school pre-professional Bachelors Program. Mr. Atkins has danced with Classical Contemporary Ballet Theatre which was featured in Pointe Magazine (June/July 2005) by Editor-In-Chief, Virginia Johnson and also featured on the cover of the New York Times Arts Section in February 2005; Which where Mr. Atkins debut as a principal dancer at the young age of 17. Mr. Atkins also has danced with Columbia City Ballet; Zankofa dance ensemble and Ballet Savannah as well as many freelance dance projects in the New York area and surrounding suburbs. Also, Mr. Atkins has received many 1st place awards and medals from many national and regional dance competitions in the Piedmont area. In 2010, Mr. Atkins was ranked number one in the state of South Carolina. Mr. Atkins is committed to the art of the classical dance aesthetic and continually strives to maintain its history and traditions while expanding its creative possibilities. He believes that the performing and visual arts are essential to the wellness of any community and any performer. Mr. Atkins joined C.Eule Dance Company in 2011.
