
Caron Eule
Caron Eule (Artistic Director) received her BFA in
dance and composition from SUNY Purchase and has also studied at the
London Contemporary School of Dance, the Bat D'or School in Israel,
and The Paul Taylor School in New York City. Caron, as the Director
of C. Eule Dance, is a recipient of the Manhattan Community Arts Fund
administered by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council for her production
of Clean Springing 3 at the Merce Cunningham Studio. Caron was selected
as a finalist to present her choreography at the Dance Under The Stars
Choreography Festival in Palm Desert, California.
Ms. Eule’s choreography has also been presented
at: the Elan Awards; Dance Theater Workshop; Dancers Responding to
AIDS at St. Mark’s Church, Summer Solstice in Times Square,
and Fire Island Dance Festival 11; the Flea; the Brooklyn Arts Exchange;
the Williamsburg Arts neXus; the 92nd Street Y; Dance Space; University
Settlement;and The Crystal Theatre in Norwalk, Connecticut. She also
continues to expose the community to dance in public events including
festivals and Public Schools. Besides choreographing concert dance,
Ms. Eule has also choreographed for film, opera, and musicals. She
has danced for Stephan Koplowitz, Tina Croll, Larry Keigwin, Daniel
Gwirtzman, Shela Xoregos, David Fernandez, Carol Fonda, Linda Diamond,
Anna Sokolow, Naomi Goldberg, Jodi Liss, the Kathak Ensemble, Amanda
Selwyn, and the Shadow Box Theater, and has toured Germany with Ariane
Mertz and Company. Ms. Eule currently teaches dance at Ballet Hispanico
and in the public schools with American Ballroom Theater. She has
also taught Master Classes at SUNY Buffalo and SUNY Fredonia. C. Eule
Dance was the subject of a documentary, Little Caron Has a Big Dream
by the New York Media Workshop held for college students from Japan. |
